REGULAR MEETINGS

We have just secured a regular venue at the Air Balloon, Horley as Brewsters has unfortunately come to an end due to them changing to a Brewers Fayre. They offered us great support and we would like to say thank-you.

Otherwise known as the Wacky Warehouse-The management are greatly supporting our meetings and fundraising. We will be organising

 regular stalls and fundraising activities throughout the summer for children

 a car boot sale

 suitcase sales for the children to keep them involved and busy

Please Contact us for more information.

FUNDRAISING

During the school hols unfortunately, due to us all having many other commitments we only managed to get to the Air Balloon twice;

We held a small raffle raising £23

August 11th  2005

We did the Pick a Card Game and raised 50p.

We started a larger raffle as I am always trying to get prizes when I am out and about! Again we have had some local support to obtain

1st Bottle of Whiskey which was donated by Co-op tilgate

2nd   Bottle of Vodka that we bought -£6.99

3rd  Bottle of  Brandy that we bought-£3.99

4th  Bottle White Wine which was donated by Spar tilgate

5th  Bottle Red Wine which was donated by Spar tilgate

6th  One of our notebooks

The raffle is still open.

I think that is it for the fundraising.

Collection Boxes

In January we purchased 20 of our own Collection Boxes they cost £57.58 but, they were a very exiting idea. Just by people popping in their odd pennies has helped us to collect an amount of money that we otherwise would not have achieved. So many thanks to all the pubs and shops that have supported us in holding a box. Between January and April we managed to collect a total of £243.56 we think much of this was money from the ‘CHD Day Roses’.

The amounts below have been collected since April 2005
